Rapper Boosie voiced his discontent with the New Orleans Pelicans after they offered him just $1,000 to perform during their halftime show. Taking to social media, Boosie expressed his disappointment, revealing that despite his efforts to secure courtside tickets, he has been consistently denied access by the team.

“You’re supposed to be courtside at the Pelican game. They don’t want to give me no courtside tickets. That’s cold-blooded. Pelican, they don’t f*** with me… Every time I try to get courtside tickets, I can’t get courtside tickets.”

“They offer me 1K to perform at the halftime show, and not even know courtside seats. I see Atlanta paid $10,000, $7,500 to perform… courtside seats. Pelicans told me they had 1K for me to perform twice in one night.”

Boosie wasn’t happy with the Pelican’s offering him only $1000 to perform at the halftime show:

In a candid Instagram Live session, Boosie revealed his frustration. His remarks shed light on the perceived lack of support from the Pelicans organization towards local artists and performers.

Boosie highlighted the stark difference in treatment compared to other NBA teams, citing examples where performers were offered significantly higher sums and courtside seats for their halftime performances. He noted that while the Atlanta Hawks reportedly paid $10,000 to $7,500 for performances, including courtside seats, the Pelicans offered him only $1,000 without the added perk of courtside tickets.

Expressing his frustration, Boosie emphasized that the Pelicans had offered him $1,000 to perform twice in one night, without providing courtside seats as part of the deal. His remarks underscore the disparity in treatment between artists and performers in the entertainment industry.

Boosie’s criticism sheds light on the challenges faced by local artists seeking opportunities to showcase their talent and gain recognition. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of equitable treatment and support for artists within the entertainment community, especially from professional sports organizations like the New Orleans Pelicans.

Boosie Got His Orlando Magic Jersey Stolen

Boosie Badazz found himself in a frustrating situation after his Orlando Magic jersey was stolen during a game against the Atlanta Hawks at the State Farm Arena. The rapper, known for hits like “Wipe Me Down,” attended the game and was gifted the jersey by Magic player Cole Anthony. However, while posing for a picture, someone snatched the jersey off his back, prompting Boosie to express his disappointment on social media.

Venting his frustration, Boosie condemned the theft, labeling the perpetrators as “lame as hell.” He also announced a $1,000 reward for the safe return of the jersey. Fortunately, Boosie later revealed on his Instagram Stories that the jersey had been recovered, albeit with a hint of skepticism towards those involved.

This isn’t the first time Boosie has experienced misfortune at NBA games. Previously, he lost a chain during a Hawks game, prompting him to offer a cash reward for its return. Additionally, he faced a similar situation on the road when he misplaced another chain, further emphasizing his unfortunate streak with valuable items.

Boosie’s encounters highlight the challenges faced by celebrities in maintaining their possessions, especially in public settings like sports arenas. Despite his frustrations, Boosie’s resilience and determination to recover his lost items demonstrate his unwavering resolve in the face of adversity.
