Russell Westbrook is a former MVP who had a rough start to the season. However, in recent games, he has shown that he is returning to his regular form, notching a triple-double in each of his last three games. If Russell Westbrook is back to his All-NBA form, then the Washington Wizards could yet make the playoffs. Russell Westbrook is the X-factor that can push this team back to the playoffs.

One of the people that has never wavered on Russell Westbrook is his teammate Bradley Beal. Bradley Beal knows the caliber of player that Russell Westbrook is. Beal has recently gone onto the Off The Bench podcast to talk about a variety of subjects, including his All-Star teammate. The Washington Wizards sent out a Tweet highlighting an excerpt of the podcast, and the tweet containing the full recording is down below.

Bradley Beal clearly has a deep respect for his co-star. Russell Westbrook is a player who knows what it takes to win basketball games. The Wizards are on a four-game winning streak and look like they’re starting to become a more cohesive unit.

While Bradley Beal is the face of the Washington Wizards, Russell Westbrook is also an important part of the roster. Hopefully, the Washington Wizards will continue winning games under his leadership, and possibly make the playoffs.
