  • Bradley Beal apparently lost in a 1-on-1 game against 16-year-old high school kid Cooper Flagg
  • Beal reportedly lost his cool and cussed out Flagg
  • The Phoenix Suns superstar denies rumors of getting angry and cussing out

Bradley Beal will start a new chapter of his career with the Phoenix Suns in the 2023-24 NBA season. But the 3x NBA All-Star recently made headlines for reportedly getting destroyed by 16-year-old high school star Cooper Flagg.

According to a report by Brian Scalabrine, Bradley Beal was fuming after losing to the 16-year-old at Jayson Tatum’s camp. Beal, on the other hand, denied such rumors by commenting below an Instagram post.

“Huh?” Beal commented.

The only way to find out whether Beal was embarrassed by Flagg or not is if the video of the alleged 1-on-1 game between the two players gets released. It will clear the air and reveal who’s lying between Beal and Scalabrine.

As for Beal, he’s excited to play for the Suns for the 2023-24 NBA season. The 30-year-old averaged 23.2 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 5.4 APG last season.

Bradley Beal Shares His Goals For The 2023-24 NBA Season

Bradley Beal will begin a new chapter in his career following his blockbuster trade to the Suns earlier this summer. The Suns acquired him for a package centered around Chris Paul.

Beal described getting traded to the Suns as similar to getting drafted again. But that hasn’t shifted his focus from playing at an elite level during his debut season with the Suns. Beal even outlined his goals for the upcoming season with his new team.

“I would say the biggest individual piece is getting back to being one of the best two-way players in the league,” he said. “Showing that I can really compete at a high level and play a meaningful game. You know, playing in the playoffs, winning in the playoffs, advancing past rounds.

“Granted, I wanna get back to my All-Star level of play. I really believe that that’s who I am: All-NBA guy, All-Star guy. And I have a good group that can push me to be that every single day.”

That’s a great goal for the 30-year-old. Beal has earned three NBA All-Star appearances in his career, but he has missed the honor over the last two seasons. He was also a part of the All-NBA Third Team in the 2020-21 season.

Beal hopes to reach that level in the upcoming season. But it’s easier said than done, as he’ll be sharing the court with two elite players – Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. So it won’t be a surprise if his numbers take a hit.
