Buddy Hield starred in some bad moments with the Sacramento Kings, even after he re-signed with the team last year. Hield is one of the best sharpshooters in the league and he’s considered a very valuable piece for Sacramento. He has high praise for the team and recently shut down the narrative that he and the team are on bad terms.
He was recently caught liking a tweet showing the Kings’ appreciation for him and now Hield has spoken about his current situation with the team. Buddy claims he’s happy with the team and has nothing but love for them.
“I have no regrets and there’s nothing to be worked on,” Hield said, via James Ham of NBC Sports. “I never had no problem with nobody here (with the Kings). Everything that was being heard, that wasn’t put out by me. I love everybody in this franchise, this organization. I don’t regret nothing that I said. I’m going to keep it 100.”
The Kings decided to let Bogdan Bogdanovic go and the Atlanta Hawks took advantage of that opportunity. They reportedly want to build around De’Aaron Fox, Marvin Bagley III and Hield. They have added a couple of pieces, too, and the future could be interesting for them.
Hield is a key piece for the Kings. Seeing his words, he’s ready to help Sacramento compete, although the Western Conference will be even harder this upcoming season.
