Damian Lillard On Why Steph Curry Is The Toughest Player To Guard In The NBA: “He’s Just Running All Over The Place, They Screen For Him And It’s Like It’s A Heavy Workload When You’re Playing Against Him Because He Don’t Stop Moving.”

Damian Lillard and Stephen Curry have been linked in recent times. When Dame was showing all his talents in the bubble, people started comparing him with Steph and even claiming he was the best point guard in the NBA. More recently, Curry and Lillard challenged each other to shoot 3-pointers from the logo on Opening Night.

Now Dame has spoken about the Golden State Warriors superstar, picking him as the hardest player to guard in the league. During a recent appearance on a Fat Joe Instagram Live session, Lillard talked about his career in the NBA. When asked about the hardest player to guard in the NBA, Lillard didn’t hesitate and named Curry.

“I would say probably Steph [Curry] because he just don’t stop moving,” Lillard mentioned. “When you play against Steph, it’s not even like when he has the ball, it is when he won’t have the ball.”

“He’s just running all over the place, they screen for him and it’s like it’s a heavy workload when you’re playing against him because he don’t stop moving,” Lillard said. “He’ll make any shot, he’ll shoot any shot, it’s like ‘Damn.’”

Steph has become one of the greatest shooters in NBA history and his handles are very impressive, too. He’s a nightmare for defenders and Dame’s words only confirm that. Curry is the best point guard in the league, one of the best players overall and one of the best leaders in the league. This season will be hard for him and the Warriors but Curry is ready for any challenge.
