The Miami Heat are one game away from the Eastern Conference Finals. After beating the No. 1 seed in the East, they’re now set to take out the New York Knicks in the second round of the playoffs.

Nevertheless, one former player thinks the Heat’s journey will end after this series is over, picking the Philadelphia 76ers or Boston Celtics to take out the Heat.

“Whoever wins this series I firmly believe they will beat Miami and whoever wins the Phoenix, Denver series will beat the Lakers,” Chandler Parsons said.

This was an interesting claim from Parsons, and people were quick to mention Jimmy Butler and what he can do against his rivals. Shams Charania of The Athletic responded to that, saying that they should let Jimmy Butler know about what Parsons is saying.

“Make sure we tag Jimmy Butler on what Chandler just said… Because Jimmy’s going to take that personally.”

The Heat are going through a sweet moment, and tonight, they’ll have the chance to close this series out and get a ticket for the ECF. Jimmy Butler has been on a tear since the postseason started, first dominating the Milwaukee Bucks and now on the verge of sending the Knicks home.

Philadelphia 76ers Are One Game Away From The Eastern Conference Finals

In the other series, the Sixers made a statement in Game 5, taking a 3-2 lead over the Boston Celtics. Joel Embiid and James Harden played a great game, leading his team to a big win over a Celtics team that looked lost on the court.

The Sixers have the chance to close this deal tomorrow at home, but the Celtics won’t go down without putting up a fight. Whoever makes it out of that series will be fine, according to Parsons, as he has zero faith in what the Miami Heat can do.
