Chris Paul Finally Explains: “Why Did I Fake Laugh At Steve Kerr? ‘Cause Wasn’t S**t Funny”

Chris Paul addressed one of the most hilarious moments in his career and the NBA in the last couple of years. The now Oklahoma City Thunder point guard had an Instagram session with Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry where they discussed a lot of topics, including Curry’s nasty crossover over CP3 in 2015.

Moreover, Paul also talked about that time when he fake laughed at a Steve Kerr comment. CP3 revealed the reason behind that often meme’d fake laugh, and it’s simpler than we could have thought.

“Why did I fake laugh at Steve Kerr? ‘Cause wasn’t s— funny,” he said.

Paul always carried a big motivation to beat the Warriors. Ever since his days with the Los Angeles Clippers, the veteran point guard had incredible duels against the Dubs. That continued during his days with the Houston Rockets. In 2018, the Rockets had a 3-2 advantage over the Warriors, but they lost the last two games of the Western Conference Finals, missing their biggest chance to beat their nemesis.

Last year, Golden State beat Houston in six games in the second round of the playoffs, which marked the last time CP3 wore a Rockets uniform. He was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder last offseason, leading the team to be one of the best in the West despite having a young core with little to no playoff experience.

The Warriors, however, had a very bad season, playing a lot of games without Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry. Next year appears to be a good one for Golden State, who has everything to bounce back and be the great team they went for the last 5 years. We’re pretty sure Paul would be there, waiting for them with his young team.
