The Oklahoma City Thunder will face the Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs and this matchup can’t have more condiments to be one of the most interesting of this stage. Chris Paul and his young team will clash against his former organization, the Houston Rockets, and his former teammate James Harden, whom he allegedly had a bad relationship. Moreover, Russell Westbrook will see his old team, OKC, where he played for 11 years.
This series has everything to be great and people already started commenting on it after Chris Paul was asked how the Thunder planned to stop James Harden, arguably the best scorer in the league right now. He didn’t explain everything but made it clear that the Thunder had ‘different ideas’ to stop the Beard from having easy games in front of them.
“I don’t know. We got different ideas over here. He has a unique way of scoring on a nightly basis.”

He also talked about the Rockets’ small-ball lineup, not saying anything concrete, just making it clear that the Thunder will be ready for the challenge of facing Harden and Westbrook.
“We gonna see. Russ has been unbelievable as dynamic as he is. They got a solid team.”

It’s all set for these two teams to clash and give us one of the most memorable playoffs series in recent years. Harden won the scoring championship for the third consecutive season after averaging 34.4 points per game. He shot 44.4% overall and 35.5% on 3-pointers.
CP3 led his Thunder to the 5th seed in the West when nobody believed in them and now is trying to extend the Thunder’s stay in the bubble.
