‘Courtside Karen’ Apologizes To LeBron James For “Losing Her Cool” On The Sidelines

Instagram model Juliana Carlos found herself at the center of a scandal on Monday night. In the fourth quarter of the Hawks game, she and her husband got into a war with words against LeBron James, which led to both fans getting kicked from the arena.

In the hours that followed, the situation went viral online, with both Juliana and LeBron exchanging more blows.

Eventually, though, the “courtside Karen” (as James called her) did apologize, taking responsibility for her role in the whole ordeal.

courtside Karen apology!

(She’s also up about 50k followers on IG which is probably what she wants anyway, including three people follow—you know who you are *cough* @kylegoon) pic.twitter.com/NjnXsHJCuY

Neither party is innocent here. As a spectator, Carlos should have had enough self-control to keep the trash talk to a minimum.

And for LeBron, he should have known better than to listen and engage with a heckler. After 17 years in the NBA, trash talk from the fans isn’t exactly a new concept for him, and he shouldn’t let it get under his skin at this point.

Whatever the case, these things do happen, and it’s good that the situation has settled down before it got out of control.
