Stephen Curry is one of the coolest NBA players out there, always showing a smile on his face and greeting fans whenever he has the chance. He’s all about the people that support him and doesn’t hesitate to have a good gesture to them. Still, the Splash Brother gets a lot of unnecessary hate from a group of fans that don’t value him.

Curry changed the game of basketball, marked the beginning of an era in the league, dominated rivals, and more with the Golden State Warriors, but all that success came with a lot of hate and criticism.

Whether it is that he teamed up with Kevin Durant in 2016 to create a superteam or that he never won a Finals MVP (which he should have), many fans like to pick on Steph and everything he does. Danny Green, just like the person writing this, can’t believe that so many people dislike Steph.

During a recent edition of his “Inside the Green Room with Danny Green” podcast, the Philadelphia 76ers sharpshooter shared his thought on this situation, showing his disbelief at so many people hating on one of the greatest players of this generation.

“I’ve learned being in this league that they don’t appreciate a lot of guys until they’re gone,” Green said, via Brad Sullivan of Ahn Fire Digital. “And he’s (Harden) one of those guys, just like with LeBron [James] and s—, even Steph has haters, which is crazy. He’s one of the nicest, most religious, winning guys. There’s nothing wrong with him, but everybody in the league has people who hate ’em. It’s usually fans of other fan bases, other teams, but there’s always gonna be people who criticize and find weaknesses.”

It’s crazy to see that one of the coolest superstars in the league received so many hateful comments. Besides being a great player, Steph is also a cool person. All the bad comments aren’t even justified, as everything he does is hoop and nothing else. Well, the NBA world is wild and we can find people that find the tiniest detail to throw shade at somebody. Curry is the perfect example of that.
