The NBA All-Star game was one of the most memorable in recent memory. Not only were fans treated to an incredible game, where LeBron James and Stephen Curry stole the show, NBA fans also got to see and show their respect and admiration for the NBA 75, the 75 best players in the history of the league.

The ceremony took place prior to the game, and all the players gathered on stage as a raucous crowd in Cleveland greeted them all. Ironically, Michael Jordan got the loudest ovation of the night, despite the ceremony taking place in LeBron James’ former home of Cleveland.

But things seemed to be very cordial between the two, as they shared a special moment with each other that went viral. After the game, LeBron noted how special an opportunity it was to meet the player who was his biggest inspiration growing up and also pointed to the fact that he used Jordan’s signature fadeaway to win the game for his team.

There were many iconic pictures from the night that had fans talking. Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, and Paul Pierce finally put their feud to rest and took a picture together, commemorating their time together with the Boston Celtics where they won the 2008 NBA championship.

One photo opp had fans online laughing a lot. LeBron James asked Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, Ray Allen, Dwyane Wade, and Carmelo Anthony to take a picture with him, one that celebrated the modern NBA’s biggest stars. Hilariously, Dennis Rodman crashed the picture, and hilariously posed with his NBA 75 blazer off.

CP3 did invite Rodman into the picture. And while ‘The Worm’ was the outlier in the photograph, his presence did not take away from its iconic nature. Rodman had a fun night, as he also got to reunite with his former teammate Michael Jordan during the ceremony.

The NBA 75 ceremony was one for the ages, as it allowed the NBA’s past and present to interact together in a wonderful way that fans had never gotten to see before. While it is unlikely we see something like this again, fans will be hoping to see this group of legends together under the same roof in the near future.
