The Chicago Bulls in the 90s were the team everyone was obsessed with. Led by Michael Jordan, one of the most popular athletes to have ever lived, there wasn’t any team as loved as the Bulls were. Even fans of other teams couldn’t help but respect their dominance, and it was at its peak during the team’s second three-peat from 1996 to 1998.

That team had 3 stars, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman, each very different from the other. MJ was the face of the franchise, everyone’s hero. Pippen was the reserved All-Star, doing everything that needed to be done on the court. And Dennis Rodman was the team’s wild card, a hustler and an elite rebounder, someone that would give everything on the court and be completely erratic off of it.

Rodman and Jordan both enjoyed the spotlight to an extent, and they hung out with their fair share of celebrities. At one point in time, Tiger Woods was one of those. Woods was, of course, a phenomenon in his own right, arguably the GOAT of golf. And Rodman, who loves telling stories about his life, once shared a hilarious tidbit from the era.

Dennis Rodman Explained Why He Enjoyed The Most Success With Women Between Him, Michael Jordan, And Tiger Woods

Attention from women is a natural part of being a successful straight, male athlete, and the Bulls stars were popular as can be. Rodman dated a whole host of celebrities, from Madonna to Carmen Electra, although Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods weren’t as free to enjoy as he was. The Worm shed some light on the dynamic during an interview on the FullSend podcast.

(starts at 5:55 minutes):

“I was the only one single,” he claimed. “I mean, every game, I had girls left or right, I didn’t care man. Carmen Electra you know, then Madonna, I dated a lot of people…Sharon Stone. I mean all these people, what’s her name Cindy Crawford…dated her. Just a bunch of people man.”

The secrets of what happened behind the scenes will never fully be known to fans, but it’s easy to believe that Rodman was hooking up with a lot of people at the time. As for MJ and Tiger Woods, as desirable as they were, it does make one wonder what they were getting into. In any case, Rodman’s stories are always fun to listen to since they provide a peek behind the curtain into one of history’s most celebrated sports teams.
