Desmond Bane has been a very solid player for the Memphis Grizzlies this season and has emerged as a secondary scorer behind Ja Morant. Desmond Bane is well-known for being a sharpshooter from beyond the arc. He is currently averaging 17.9 PPG, 4.5 RPG, and 2.5 APG while shooting 41.9% from 3PT range.
Despite their position as the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, the Memphis Grizzlies have not been mentioned in the same tier as other Western Conference contenders such as the Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Suns, as teams that could potentially make the Finals.

We beat both of those teams on their home floor this year. That’s something that’s not easy to do. Obviously they had a great first half of the season as well, they got their own stars and great team chemistry as well. I think it’s dumb not to put us in that conversation as a team that could come out of the Western Conference given what we’ve done.
While the Memphis Grizzlies aren’t necessarily experienced in the playoffs, their athleticism, defense, and scoring at the rim will all prove useful when it comes to the postseason. There is no doubt that they’ll be a tough opponent for any team, and they could definitely make life difficult for some of the teams that will be unable to keep up with their pace.
Desmond Bane’s scoring will be crucial for the Memphis Grizzlies in the playoffs. He clearly has a lot of confidence in his game, as evidenced by him trash-talking an all-time great like LeBron James earlier in the season. Hopefully, we see Desmond Bane perform well when the Grizzlies get to the playoffs and see him shine in the bright lights of the postseason.
