The hip-hop world is still reeling from Drake’s latest album. The Toronto native dropped ‘Certified Lover Boy’ yesterday, and the whole world has been listening to it.

Several players in the NBA have also been sharing their thoughts about ‘Drizzy’s’ latest work. But one opinion may have caught the ire of Donovan Mitchell. And that would be that of fellow All-Star Trae Young.

Trae Young took to Twitter to praise Drake, and even put out a question that he felt was important. He asked whether it was fair to say that Drake has passed fellow rap legend Jay Z.

One of the people who did not agree with Trae asking that question was Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell told Trae Young that he needed to relax before he said something like that, showing how much respect he has for Jay Z.

Young did get a lot of comments on his comparison of Drake and Jay Z, so much so that he had to scale back and clarify that he doesn’t consider Drake to be better than Jay Z.

While the interaction was passed off for laughs, the NBA world is still reacting to Drake’s new album. Significant NBA stars like LeBron James and Kevin Durant have reacted very positively to the album

But Drake also had significant NBA stars in his own album. Drake mentions Giannis Antetokounmpo in a song. But more notably, he had Kawhi Leonard in the music video for his song ‘Way 2 Sexy’.

The video with Leonard is quite comedic, with Kawhi showing his comedic sides while portraying himself as a member of a boyband. As of now, Drake’s album has found great success, with several NBA players enjoying themselves while listening to it.
