The Golden State Warriors may have won the 2022 NBA Championship, but the 2022-23 NBA season hasn’t been ideal for the Dubs. They have lost several winnable games and look nowhere close to defending their NBA title this season.

The Warriors’ most recent defeat came at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks, as the Bucks never really let the Dubs have a chance at winning the game from the very first buzzer. It was also the clash between two of the brightest superstars in Stephen Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo.

After losing the last game against the Houston Rockets, Giannis was critical of his teammates. That call-out worked perfectly for them, as they had a great game against the Dubs. Speaking of Giannis’ teammates, Donte DiVincenzo was a former teammate of his but is now playing for the Warriors.

Donte DiVincenzo On The Leadership Style Of Stephen Curry And Giannis Antetokounmpo

There is no debate about Curry and Antetokounmpo being two of the best players in the NBA. But almost every superstar in the league has a different leadership style. However, according to DiVincenzo, who has played under the leadership of both superstars, they are similar.

Via NBC Sports:

“It’s fun. It’s fun to come to work. When you have someone who has great spirit, great energy with them – you want to be around them, you want to spend as much time around them to learn from them. I’ve had that in both places.”

He added, “I’m in a whole different city, a whole different organization, and my focus is here,” DiVincenzo said. “I’m excited to go play there for the first time, but my focus isn’t going to go away from what we’re doing as a team and what my role is, and my mindset for this team. I have bigger goals than just trying to win one game in the season.”

To be honest, it’s no surprise that Giannis and Curry have a similar leadership style due to the fact that they both are pretty humble about their skill set. If anything, their biggest focus is on winning games instead of getting distracted by other things.
