The Celtics are currently being looked at as the best team in the NBA, and many expected it to be an easy win for the team over the Los Angeles Lakers. However, behind a strong performance from LeBron James, the Lakers managed to maintain a close game for the most part.
Unfortunately, the Lakers fell apart in overtime and bottled their lead. Thus, resulting in the 16th defeat of the season for the Purple and Gold.

Paul Pierce is surely a legend of the Celtics. But during his career, there were several times when he was stopped in the tracks of achieving great things by LeBron James. So it’s no surprise that they have some bad blood between them. Following the defeat of the LeBron-led Lakers against the Celtics, Pierce mocked James by performing his iconic ‘Silencer’ celebration.

Most fans weren’t happy after seeing Pierce mock James and were quick to clap back at the former Celtics star. Several fans pointed out the fact that James had the upper hand on Pierce for the entire time that the two players played against each other.
