Doris Burke just roasted her ex-husband on national TV on Monday afternoon. Burke is great at her job as an analyst and commentator and she proved that once again yesterday, during the Grizzlies-Pelicans game.
At some point in the game, Doris and her partner Mark Jones were arguing about a possible foul from Lonzo Ball, who hit Ja Morant in the groin. While the broadcast showed the replay, agreeing with Burke, she dropped a line that cracked up Jones and broke the internet.
“I do like being right. Ask my ex-husband,” she said.
“I do like being right. Ask my ex husband.”

She then laughed and so did her partner. Those words made it everywhere and the NBA community was enjoying them, mocking Burke’s ex-husband, Rhode Island golf coach Gregg Burke.
“I do like being right. Ask my ex husband.”

In a duel that featured the two best rookies in the NBA this season, Ja Morant and Zion Williamson, Burke managed to steal the show and make the headlines. She’s been doing a terrific job as a commentator and these types of comments will only get her more fans and admirers. Kudos to Doris for such a great line.
