There is no biggest musician in the world today than Drake. The Toronto rapper is the most popular artist in the world, with his albums and projects often breaking streaming records within mere hours of dropping.

Most recently, Drake is celebrating the success of his latest album ‘Certified Lover Boy’, which came out 3 weeks ago, and is still enjoying great success on the commercial front.

Aside from Drake’s music, he is extremely passionate about basketball. Drizzy has been spotted at several NBA games cheering on NBA stars. Being from Toronto, Drake is a huge Raptors fan and is often at Raptors games sitting courtside.

On top of that, Drake is also close friends with several NBA players like LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant among others. Drake and LeBron are often seen interacting with each other. As for KD, he even appeared in the music video for Drake’s hit single ‘Laugh Now, Cry Later’.

But KD isn’t the only NBA star to appear in Drake’s music videos. Most recently, Drake recruited former Raptors star Kawhi Leonard to be a part of his music video for ‘Way 2 Sexy’, the lead single from his ‘Certified Lover Boy’ album.

Drake has been close to Leonard for some time, mostly because of his stint in Toronto. Leonard led the Toronto Raptors on an incredible run in the 2019 NBA Playoffs, which ended in an NBA championship win. Drake was present for almost all of the home games during the Raptors’ championship run in 2019.

Drizzy doesn’t just love watching basketball but also enjoys playing it. He has a massive basketball court in his Toronto mansion. But unfortunately for the ‘6 God’, that court became the sight where he became the butt of jokes on the internet.

In a recent video that went Viral, Drake can be seen playing a 1v1 pickup game against fellow Toronto Raptor Tory Lanez. Lanez is significantly smaller than Drake, which is why fans were surprised to see Drake struggling to go past him. In an effort to create separation, Drake went to the arc and took a three-point shot, but air-balled it.

Clearly, Drake isn’t a professional basketball player. But given how much he loves the game, and how much bigger he is than Lanez, it comes as a shock to see him fail to get past him.

Maybe this video is taken out of context, and Drake was dishing out buckets to Lanez when the cameras weren’t on. But for a basketball superfan like Drizzy, struggling against Lanez is not a good look.
