Draymond Green Calls Out Joel Embiid: “Now, Someone Go To Joel And Tell Him Not To Shoot Another Jumper But Shoot The Ball Every Play. Go Shaq Mode.”

Draymond Green had a piece of advice for Joel Embiid on Sunday night. As the Cameroonian big man fought to beat the Atlanta Hawks in Game 7 of the second-round series, Green offered a very good option for the Philadelphia 76ers’ offense.

While JoJo insisted on attempting jump shots, Green took to Twitter to explain what he would do if he were in Embiid’s position. According to Draymond, the center should stay in the paint to make as much damage as possible.

Now, someone go to Joel and tell him not to shoot another jumper but shoot the ball every play. Go Shaq mode.

After that tweet, Embiid started shooting threes without success. Green doubled down on his comments, saying he should have gone to the paint and live there in the last minutes of the game.

Remember those jumpers. Go bury yourself in the post! Not rocket science ‍♂️

Well, Clint Capela got to work on Sunday night to stop Joel. Even at the beginning of the game, the Swiss man was pressuring Embiid, preventing him from getting the first pass to start the offense.

Draymond had a clear strategy, but he wasn’t able to make Embiid change his. In the end, the Hawks dominated the Sixers and got a huge W to advance to Game 7, where the Milwaukee Bucks are waiting.
