The city of Angels is home to many amazing teams across all professional sports. Be it baseball, football, or basketball. Almost every team in the city has achieved something great in their respective sport.
However, there seems to be one team that falls out of that discussion. We are talking about none other than the Los Angeles Clippers. For as long as fans can remember, the Clippers have always been a second-fiddle to the L.A. Lakers.
But in recent years, the Clippers are finally making some progress over the Purple and Gold, at least during the regular season. Come playoff time, the Clippers are yet to even make an NBA Finals appearance.
Evidently, this has led to the franchise getting trolled by many over the years. Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green became one of the most recent additions to that list. Green did so during the 2022 ESPYS. While for most of the event, it was Stephen Curry who roasted others, Green also joined Curry in one instance.
Green interrupted his teammate for an unannounced episode of his hit podcast, ‘The Draymond Green Show.’ Green decided to roast the Clippers when he announced this unexpected episode.

“Welcome back to the Draymond Green Show. I’m live from L.A., home of seven professional teams and the Clippers.”
Obviously, Green made the joke in good taste. But it still doesn’t change the truth that the Clippers are yet to make an impact in the NBA playoffs, despite having a superstar duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George for three seasons.
With the franchise adding John Wall to the mix, the Clippers have one of the strongest starting lineups for the 2022-23 NBA season. But can they win the NBA Championship? Only time will tell us that.
