It’s another NBA postseason, and Warriors star Draymond Green is back to his old antics. After several incidents of misplaced kicks in the past, the 4x champion was caught in another altercation in the series against Sacramento.

But despite stomping on Sabonis and riling up the crowd as he was being ejected, he’s not likely to serve a suspension and may only receive a fine for his actions on Monday night.

“It is looking unlikely Warriors forward Draymond Green will be suspended for Game 3 vs. Kings after stepping on Domantas Sabonis when Sabonis grabbed his leg on Monday night, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium (via Shams Charania).

“Those around the situation expect a fine for Green, but that he will be available for Game 3 given the ejection, Flagrant Foul 2 and circumstances around the incident with Sabonis, sources said.”

The Warriors can rest easy knowing that Dray will not be out for Game 3, but he should definitely be more careful going forward to avoid any other questionable outbursts, especially since the Warriors have to dig themselves out of a 2-0 hole.

Can Warriors Still Win The Series?

This group has never been down 2-0 in a series going back home, but these aren’t the same Warriors we’re used to seeing. Thanks to a thin bench unit, inconsistent supporting talent, and a lackadaisical effort on defense, Golden State continues to struggle to win games on the road, just like they did all season long.

Against this young Kings team, their flaws are being exposed to an alarming degree.

“I’m very worried about the Golden State Warriors,” said Stephen A. Smith. “De’Aaron Fox is special. I’m talking about when Derrick Rose was at the height of his career. He’s unguardable. They cannot guard him… I looked at Sacramento last night and I was like this, ‘Oh my lord.’ I have been asleep on these brothers.”

Obviously, it’s still foolish to count the Warriors out, as the series could easily be tied at 2-2 when the Kings come back to Sacramento. But if the Dubs don’t shape up soon, they could be out of the playoffs much sooner than anyone thought possible…
