Shaquille O’Neal’s Big Gesture: He Paid For A Man’s Engagement Ring At A Local Jewelry Store

Shaquille O’Neal might be a controversial analyst but there is no doubt that he’s a great man, who is always willing to help people. One of the prime samples of that is the fact that his sneakers are way more affordable than others and he did it for kids to have access to sneakers without paying a lot of money.

He has continued helping people over the years and recently, he surprised one man by paying for his engagement ring. He always attends a local jewelry store nearby home and O’Neal never misses the chance to pay for people’s items. This time, a lucky guy found Shaq, and the 4-time NBA champion paid for his engagement ring.

On Monday, he attended the store and gave his card to a young man, who looked excited to meet Shaq and to have him paying for his stuff. Shaq explained he has a line of jewelry and what led him to help this guy get the ring.

“I saw a guy come him, he was just shy. He was saying ‘hey, how much do I owe to pay off my rent?’ I was like ‘my man, how much is the ring?’ I’m not gonna say the amount but it’s not enough for me. This is something that I do every day. The other day, me and my mom went furniture shopping and this lady had an autistic daughter. She was also looking to pay for some furniture and I just took care of it, so I’m into making people happy so whenever I leave the house, I just try to do good deed.”

Shaq made it clear he didn’t want the video to come out and revealed that the guy he helped didn’t want the help at first but he persuaded him. It was a very good moment for everybody to know how down-to-earth this man is and how good he’s done in other people’s lives.

You can disagree with whatever he says on live TV but there’s no denial that O’Neal is a real one. Just like Kyrie Irving helping a hard-working man in Chicago, O’Neal also showed that his quality as a human is bigger than any opinion he has, right or wrong.
