Giannis Antetokounmpo Reacts To Video Comparing Him To Jordan And Olajuwon

2 Min Read

Giannis Antetokounmpo may be out of the race for the 2020 title, but his book is still being written. As a 2x MVP, and 2020 DPOY, the Greek Freak is already making a strong case to be one of basketball’s All-Time greats.

But when he was featured in a video that compared him to the likes of Michael Jordan and Hakeem Olajuwon, not even Giannis could contain his shock and excitement. In a tweet, the Bucks star gave his reaction to a clip that had him side-by-side with NBA legends.

Obviously, Giannis still has a ways to go before he can be truly compared to greats like Hakeem and Jordan. While Giannis is great statistically, there are a few glaring holes in his resume — mostly when it comes to winning.

With zero Finals appearances to his name, Giannis still has to prove he’s a winner at basketball’s highest stage of competition before anybody puts him in the elite category.

Until then, the Bucks forward will continue to pursue greatness whichever way he can. And, whether it’s with the Bucks or another franchise, he will be showcasing his skillset for years to come.

If his tweet is any indication of his admiration for those All-Time legends, then we can expect him to reach for the sky.
