The NBA Free Agency will surely see major headlines and going by NBA insider Brian Windhorst’s latest tease, it appears that the Cleveland Cavaliers are surely plotting some major moves.

Per ESPN Cleveland, “I don’t have a terrific feel for what the Cavs are doing…there is one thing out there that I heard in the last week, just look on social media over the last week and see what you see and go from there.”

He further added: “I have some speculation, there’s a couple of outlandish stuff that I’m not going to say right now because I’d get in trouble… I wish I could tell you more and I know I shouldn’t tease you.”

At the time of writing, the one sureshot speculation is the Cavs looking to make some massive free agency moves that will see them surround Donovan Mitchell with a contending roster. While he was simply incredible for the team this past season, lack of firepower in the absence of a much-needed superstar saw them end their run in the first round of the playoffs.

Are the Cavs pulling the trigger and landing a box office name? Only time will tell.

The Cleveland Cavaliers Were Linked To Tobias Harris Earlier

Prior to Windhorst’s teasing news around the Cavaliers’ free agency, Philadelphia 76ers star Tobias Harris was linked to the franchise, although the latter’s team had a rather surprising string of demands.

According to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, “Last week, sources told The Inquirer the Sixers are overvaluing Harris and asking for “outrageous packages in return.” That goes in line with what a source said the Sixers told the Cavs what it would take days before the draft: A package of Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, and a draft pick.”

This surely comes as absurd, given how Harris isn’t exactly worth that much of a shelling out by the Cavaliers. And it goes without saying that the front office won’t part with Allen and Mobley to get Harris in their ranks.

Leaving with one thought. Is there a Damian Lillard or Kyrie Irving trade brewing with the Cavaliers in the mix? Or is there a secret LeBron James to the Cleveland return in the offing?
