Iman Shumpert On Why People Hate LeBron: ‘He Does It Really Well. He Ain’t Got No Marks On His Resume And People Just Want Him To Look Like A Person’

Iman Shumpert has given his take on why he believes LeBron James is the recipient of much hate from fans. Just like his fans defend him no matter what, James has racked up a lot of haters during his 17-year NBA career and that doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

Shumpert, who shared touches with the King in the Cleveland Cavaliers, explained why people dislike Bron, despite being the best player in the world for quite some time and one of the best players in history.

Iman, whose last team was the Brooklyn Nets, has been very active talking about his former teammates. He talked about Carmelo Anthony’s work ethic in recent days before making the big statement about Bron. When asked about why he gets so much hate, Shumpert said:

“Cause he does it really well. He ain’t got no marks on his resume and people just want him to look more like a person. He try so hard to do all the right things. To me, it’s like ‘I don’t care about leading’, but there are so many different things, so many different people around him, so even if he got a decision in his heart, he can’t make it knowing it’ll affect all that’s under his umbrella. So, knowing how it is, his whole career and not really make a terrible step, that’s incredible, and he’s still playing at this level, that’s incredible.”

Love him or hate him, you have to admit Shumpert is right when he says Bron hasn’t made any big mistake in his career. Sure, how he left Cleveland for Miami was a controversial decision but he returned to the Q and gave the Cavaliers their first NBA title ever. Ever since his high school days, people were waiting on him to fail, but Bron has remained at the top as one of the best athletes in the world.
