In 2019 Kevin Durant Revealed His Top 5 Players Of All-Time

After the NBA entered a hiatus following the coronavirus outbreak, there has been a recurrent topic around the league involving the best players in the history of the game and that never-ending GOAT debate that is hotter than ever after Michael Jordan’s documentary ‘The Last Dance’ debuted a couple of weeks ago.

A lot of players from the current and past era of the NBA have given their opinion on that matter. The majority agree that Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time, but others side with LeBron James or other stars from the past. Last year, Kevin Durant joined The Players’ Tribune’s ‘Knuckleheads’ where he listed off his top 5 players of all time.

Durant went with Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, Hakeem Olajuwon and Magic Johnson, in that order. It’s normal to see Jordan and Kobe being part of these lists, but that time Durant claimed that Kobe was the ‘easy number two ever’, ignoring other names like LeBron James, one of KD’s biggest rivals in the league.

Still, everybody has an opinion on this and we’re pretty sure a lot of people agree with Durantula and his list. He’s sideline after suffering a torn ACL in the 2019 NBA Finals, which has helped KD being more active giving his takes on the things happening in the association.

He signed with the Brooklyn Nets last summer and is yet to make his debut with the franchise. Rumors suggest he could suit up with the team if the league returns to action at some point this year, but nothing is certain at this moment.
