The Los Angeles Lakers are still struggling this season. The team hasn’t had the best campaign and would be out of the playoffs if the play-in tournament didn’t exist. Everybody has tried to find a solution to this issue, but the Purple and Gold can’t catch a break.
They didn’t make moves ahead of the 2022 trade deadline and decided to focus on the buyout market. There aren’t many free agents that will add something meaningful to this team, but several people have offered to help the 17-time NBA champions.
On Tuesday’s edition of NBA on TNT, Shaquille O’Neal asked 41-year-old Jamal Crawford if he could suit up for the Lakers, and the legendary sixth man didn’t hesitate.
“Ya easy, I could give you 20 if you want in 20-minutes. Any minute you gave me, it was a point. Whatever you want, put in your order, I’ll give you what you’re looking for,” J-Crossover told O’Neal.

Allen Iverson also sent a message asking why Crawford wasn’t on an NBA team right now.

The 3x Sixth Man of the Year replied to AI’s comments, revealing that he always admired the Philadelphia 76ers legend and modeled his game after the 2001 NBA MVP.
“Shoutout to AI though, I got 35 pictures on my wall of Allen Iverson. All the tattoos and everything helps me out, game, the left to right crossover.”
Crawford last played for the Brooklyn Nets and has been waiting for another opportunity in the league. He’s still confident he can give people buckets. It remains to be seen if another team brings him back to the association. Joe Johnson played for the Celtics amid a covid-19 outbreak in the league. Crawford could have a similar fate, but this is pure speculation.
