James Harden’s time with the Brooklyn Nets was far from perfect. When the Beard was traded to the Nets, he formed a superteam alongside Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Evidently, the expectation from the Big 3 was to lead the Nets to an NBA Championship.

The experiment with James Harden lasted only a season and a half before the former NBA MVP demanded a trade ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline. Many believed the reason Harden wanted to leave the Nets was his fractured relationship with his teammate Kyrie Irving.

As a result, Harden’s trade request was fulfilled, and he was sent to the Philadelphia 76ers in a trade package around Ben Simmons.
