Jaylen Brown could have a bright future with the Boston Celtics. The young prospect has been in the NBA for just a few years now but has already reached All-Star status with the team. On top of that, his chemistry with Jayson Tatum could allow the Celtics to be a powerhouse in the NBA if they surround them with the right pieces.

Brown is looked at as the 2nd option for the Celtics behind Tatum. But that doesn’t mean that his production is lacking compared to that of Tatum. In fact, there have been several games where Brown became the catalyst for the team and Tatum provided assistance to him.

For a franchise like the Celtics, who hold the joint record for most NBA championships won in history, mediocrity is never the target. The Celtics always want to be the best, and they have a solid duo in Tatum and Brown that can help them be very successful for years to come.

As a player for the Celtics, one is expected to be highly ambitious. But no one expected Jaylen Brown to give the response that he did in an interview with Taylor Rooks from a few years ago.

During this interview for Bleacher Report, Rooks asked Jaylen how many championships he expects to win by the time he is 28 (0:47 mark). Brown ambitiously said that he would win 5-6 championships by that time, hoping that he hadn’t jinxed himself by saying it.

NBA fans recently reacted to this interview, as posted by Instagram page Kicks. Most fans thought he was correct in saying that, as he showed his desire to win. Whereas some felt that he was trying to impress the interviewer, Taylor Rooks.

Jaylen is currently 24 years old, and it is unlikely that he will be able to reach that 6 championships mark. But that isn’t to say that he can’t win a championship. He and Tatum form one of the best duos in the league today, and if things go right, they have a good chance of winning a championship in the coming years.
