Jayson Tatum: “LeBron James Is The 2nd Greatest Player Of All-Time. Kevin Durant Is Like 11th Best. LeBron Is The Player.”

Amid the NBA’s hiatus, players and fans within the NBA community are having to find new ways to entertain themselves. For Jayson Tatum, it means having conversations about the league’s All-Time greats.

On an Instagram live chat, he makes the case for why LeBron James is the second greatest player ever and why he is still, at 35-years-old, better than Kevin Durant.

“We talkin’ about the second greatest player of All-Time, KD the eleventh.”

Durant has been considered among the best players in the game even before his first Championship victory in Golden State. Over the course of his 12-year-career, he has averaged 27 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game on 49% shooting.

LeBron, on the other hand, has been nothing short of extraordinary himself since starting his career. He’s a 16x All-Star, 4x MVP, 15x All-NBA player, and a 3x Champion.

He has always taken exceptional care of his body and has been a model of consistency. And while he and Durant’s placement in history will always be argued, Tatum and many others around the globe aren’t ready to hand the crown off to anyone else this season — not even Durant.

James, it seems, is still King.
