Jayson Tatum Reacts To Bradley Beal Trade Rumors

Bleacher Report

Jayson Tatum and Bradley Beal are two of the best young stars in the game. They also happen to be really close friends.

Both players hail from St. Louis and became good friends growing up. Tatum, being five years younger than Beal, practically followed in his footsteps on his path to the NBA.

And while it has always been a long-shot dream for the pair to play together, recent rumors and speculation have suggested it could become a reality.

Tatum himself, seeing one particular rumor about Beal and the Warriors, reacted on Instagram, suggesting he wants his friend in Boston instead.

Tatum’s availability is still not yet confirmed, as neither the Wizards nor the star himself have come out and said anything on the subject.

But considering their situation, and the franchise’s history of playoff failures, it seems plausible that Beal could end up forcing his way out pretty soon.

In that event, it’s clear that Boston will be interested — and for good reason.

At 28-years-old, Beal still has years of his prime ahead of him. As one of the best scorers and shooters in the game, he can provide a boost to any offense, and especially for the Celtics.

Last season, which included his third All-Star selection, he averaged 31.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game on 48% shooting.
