The Miami Heat beat the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 against all expectations but suffered a significant setback. Tyler Herro sustained an injury during the game, and they have now lost the 20 points per game he has provided all season.

Tyler Herro will miss 4-6 weeks with a broken middle finger and ring finger, which means he is effectively out of the playoffs for the Miami Heat. And Jimmy Butler spoke about what the team must do after losing a vital offensive force.

“You can’t fully make up what Tyler has been for our team all year long,” Butler said. “But guys gotta step up, including myself, including Bam, and whoever Spo calls upon to do an offensive assignment, a defensive assignment, to bring some energy, to dive on the floor, to get a loose ball or rebound. It’s all hands on deck at all times, and now more than ever.”

The Milwaukee Bucks suffered an even bigger shock when Giannis Antetokounmpo had to exit the game with an injury as well. But the good news on that front is that there is optimism that he will be able to return to the floor for Game 2 of the series.

Reggie Miller Claimed That Tyler Herro Is A Bigger Loss For The Heat Than Giannis Antetokounmpo Is For The Bucks

There is no doubt that Giannis Antetokounmpo is a big loss for the Milwaukee Bucks, he is an MVP-caliber player. But the Bucks have a good team that can still pull out wins if Giannis is not fully fit. Reggie Miller seems to think that Herro being out is, therefore, a bigger loss for the Heat

The Miami Heat have struggled for offense all season, even though they did manage to put up a whopping 130 points against the Bucks in Game 1. Tyler Herro is a player that can score at all three levels and provides a spark for the team when they need it. Not having him is going to be a big headache for Erik Spoelstra.

Having said that, the Heat will be feeling good after an impressive Game 1 victory. Many thought the Bucks might sweep this series, but it isn’t going to be that easy. It will be exciting to see how it all plays out.
