Jimmy Butler On Game 6: “I Like Our Chances.”

2 Min Read

By all accounts, Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat shouldn’t even be here.

After finishing 5th in the Eastern Conference, the team encountered a playoff scene that included the Bucks, Sixers, Celtics, and Raptors — all squads who had a case for being better than the Heat this season.

Yet, somehow, it is they who remain as one of the last two teams left competing for the crown. And, despite being underdogs (again) for Game 6 on Sunday, Jimmy Butler showed no fear in the post-game presser, announcing he liked his team’s chances heading into the next match…

Butler played no small role in the victory tonight, putting up 35 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists, and 5 steals on 57% shooting. He was joined by Duncan Robinson, who dropped 26 points on 7-13 shooting from downtown.

All-in-all it was an inspiring performance from the Heat, who deserve major credit for being able to withstand the onslaught of L.A.’s frontcourt stars,

So what are their chances to take this whole thing? It’s hard to say for sure. Coming back from down 3-1 is never easy, and it’ll be nearly impossible against this Lakers team.

But if any squad can do it, it’s this Heat team, who seem to thrive with their backs against the wall.
