Jimmy Butler Roasts Reporter Asking If The Heat’s Calendar Is Tough: “Maybe If Your Sorry A** Was On Our Team It’d Be Tough”

Jimmy Butler once again showed he’s one of the funniest players out there while explaining to a reporter that the Miami Heat aren’t afraid of any rival and as long as they can play, they will have a chance to compete against anybody.

On Monday, the veteran swingman was asked by a reporter if going against teams like Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks was tough for him and his team and the player turned things around, asking the same question for the reporter before going off on them.

Reporter: ” Are you aware how tough the schedule w/ 2 against Celtics, 1 against 76ers, 1 against Bucks?”

Jimmy Butler: “That’s tough for you?”

Reporter: “I don’t know.”

Butler: “Maybe if your sorry ass was on our team it’d be tough, but I think we’ll be just fine.”

Jimmy was just messing with the reporter but this shows how confident this man is in his team. This season hasn’t been the best for the Floridians, especially knowing all the expectations around them after reaching the NBA Finals last season.

Butler and co. will try to shock the world again but things don’t look as promising for the Heat as they were last year. The Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers and Milwaukee Bucks have all improved their level and Miami will have a really hard time trying to beat them in a playoffs series.

Still, they have Jimmy B and that man won’t go down so easily so if they have a chance to compete, that is thanks to their star. We are going through the last two weeks of competition and the Heat currently rank 6th in the East. The next couple of games will be crucial for them if they want to make it to the postseason without having to play in the play-in tournament.
