Joel Embiid To Hawks Fans: “Shut The F-ck Up!”

2 Min Read

The Philadelphia 76ers are trying everything in their power to avoid more playoff disappointment. Over the past few seasons, the team has struggled to take control of the Eastern Conference despite having two of the best players in the league.

So with the Sixers looking to take a 3-1 lead in Atlanta on Monday, it’s no surprise that the team, and Joel Embiid especially, were getting a little fired up throughout the game.

One particular moment that has since gone viral is a message by Embiid to the loud and rowdy Atlanta crowd:

Jojo has never been one to shy away from the chit-chat, even if it’s to the fans on the sidelines. Usually, he backs up his words by dominating on the court.

In Game 4, though, he missed a crucial opportunity down the stretch that might have delivered a win for his team.

Naturally, fans gave him plenty of smack after the game, and Embiid will probably be thinking about it for a while.

However, the advantage still goes to the Sixers to win this series. They have the best players, they have the experience, and they have home-court advantage.

So while Trae Young and the crew may have won the most recent battle, the war is still far from over.
