Jordan Clarkson Sends Message Amidst Trade Rumors: “Where I’m Supposed To Be.”

Jordan Clarkson has been the sixth man for the Utah Jazz for the past few seasons, providing supplementary scoring and ballhandling for the team coming off the bench. This past season with the team, Clarkson averaged 16.0 PPG, 3.5 RPG, and 2.5 APG.

A recent report suggested that the Utah Jazz are shopping Jordan Clarkson to other teams. Since they traded away stars Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell, one would expect the veteran players such as Clarkson to be the next dominoes to fall.

The Jazz are, according to sources, also engaged in trade conversations around some remaining pieces, namely veterans forward Bojan Bogdanovic, guard Mike Conley and guard Jordan Clarkson. But, with Mitchell now in Cleveland and Rudy Gobert in Minnesota, the franchise has officially turned the page on that era. For the Jazz, it’s all about how to begin a new chapter they hope can possibly lead to a title.

Since the Utah Jazz are currently dealing with a rebuild, it is quite possible that Jordan Clarkson does, in fact, end up getting moved once the team finds an acceptable deal. He is a solid player that could end up helping a good number of contenders with his skill set.

Jordan Clarkson Seemingly Responded To Trade Speculation Surrounding His Future

Sometimes, players are comfortable where they are at. We have seen a lot of player unhappy after getting traded by their franchises and having to uproot their life and move to a different town.

Jordan Clarkson has recently posted on Twitter, seemingly responding to all the trade speculation around him. It seems as though Jordan Clarkson believes that he is in the right place for himself right now, as he claimed that he is where he’s “supposed to be” on the Utah Jazz.

While Jordan Clarkson likes the Utah Jazz, that doesn’t mean that he can’t thrive elsewhere. One of the franchises that have recently been linked with him is the Los Angeles Lakers, and an NBA insider previously suggested a trade scenario where he heads to Los Angeles as part of a blockbuster deal involving point guard Russell Westbrook.

Jazz receive: Russell Westbrook, Kendrick Nunn, the Lakers’ unprotected 2027 first-round pick and two second-round picks

Los Angeles Lakers receive: Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic, Jordan Clarkson

Obviously, it is unclear whether the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers are actually working on a deal with a similar framework. However, Jordan Clarkson would certainly be a good addition to the team, as he could space the floor and provide firepower in the second unit.

Hopefully, we see Jordan Clarkson end up staying in Utah or going to a desirable destination. He is a good player that is a difference-maker, and it is clear that franchises around the league like what Clarkson does on the court.
