Twitch streamer Kai Cenat was present at All-Star Weekend 2024, even being used as a prop in the Slam Dunk Contest by Jaylen Brown. He was asked if he could beat Michael Jordan in a 1-on-1, and the streamer had a funny response.

“I’m frying him. MJ gonna get some points on me, but all I gotta do is score one. Do you feel what I’m saying? Me scoring one, that’s gonna make my whole day. To say that I scored on MJ, that’s a win all day. No cap.”

Kai is always looking to create entertaining moments, with his response also serving to entertain. The 5’5″ streamer will not stand a chance against MJ even at the age of 61. He knows that as well, admitting that scoring even one point on Jordan would be a win for him.

Richard Jefferson was also asked by the media at the All-Star Weekend if he could beat Jordan at the age of 61 in a one-on-one. Funnily, the former NBA player was humble enough to admit Jordan would score at least seven points on him, but not humble enough to say Jordan would win.

“I’d cook his ass, no disrespect. MJ whooped me when he was 40 and I was 20, but bodies start catching up in different places when you’re older.”

Jefferson at age 43 could realistically beat Jordan at his age because RJ was at least an elite hooper for 18 years in the NBA. Kai may have some accolades on Twitch, but there is no way he’d even be competitive enough to score against any NBA player, including a senior citizen Jordan.

Michael Jordan Allegedly Lost A 1-On-1 To Kwame Brown

If Kai Cenat were to beat Jordan in a 1-on-1, even at the age of 61, it would officially be the most embarrassing loss of his career. A few players have claimed to beat Jordan in a 1-on-1, one of them being his former teammate Kwame Brown.

“I beat him in 1-on-1. The first thing I wanted to do was to play him 1-on-1. It’s basketball, just like if I was a boxer, the first thing I want to do is spar with those great heavyweights… So the first thing I said was, ‘I hear a lot about you, but I think I’m better than you.’ So we ended up playing 1-on-1. It was a fun game, good game. I jumped on him quick then he started doing the MJ thing, fading away everywhere.”

There’s no way to confirm whether this happened, but Jordan has never come out to disprove what Brown claimed. The pair were teammates on the Wizards, with Jordan and Kwame having a difficult relationship. Jordan expected Brown to be a star in the NBA, influencing the Wizards’ decision to pick him, but it never worked out.

Jordan averaged 21.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in his stint with the Wizards, proving he was still an elite player. While that elite play didn’t result in a playoff berth, his time with the team is remembered positively as years where everyone could appreciate his greatness without weighing him down with expectations.
