Karl-Anthony Towns Picks Michael Jordan As The GOAT Over LeBron James: “Somebody Had To Set The Blueprint For All Of Us.”

The GOAT debate hasn’t ended, no matter how annoying it could be for some people within the NBA community. Michael Jordan and LeBron James are always the two candidates in this discussion, with some making big cases for their favorite players whenever the debate pops up.

Everybody has a different opinion on this matter and Karl-Anthony Towns isn’t the exception. The Minnesota Timberwolves star recently sat down with Youtuber Adin Ross to discuss a variety of topics, stirring the pot when he talked about Russell Westbrook, calling the Los Angeles Lakers star a stat-chaser.

Besides the comments about the triple-double king, KAT talked about the GOAT debate, disagreeing with Ross after the former said LeBron James is the greatest NBA player of all time. Ross said that this era is more physical than in the past, and players can make more 3-pointers than before.

KAT replied to this saying that Jordan showed the way for the new generations, playing a big role in the evolution of the game.

“Jordan’s era was all the people who taught all of us how to play like that, there are generational talents, you know there are people who do stuff that’s never been done, you know we got Stephen curry’s out there but there’s somebody had to set the blueprint for all of us”.

MJ was the idol of a generation. Players like Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and more revealed that Jordan was their idol, so it’s not crazy to say that without His Airness, there wouldn’t have been other players that left a huge mark on the game. Jordan did a terrific job during his active days, winning multiple titles with the Chicago Bulls, as well as collective honors for his offensive and defensive talents.

LeBron has earned his stripes, too, winning 4 championships in 10 trips to the Finals, as well as 4 MVP awards. Yet, it’s clear that plenty of people around the world still see His Airness as the greatest player to ever exist.
