Kendrick Perkins Changed His Mind On Who Is The Most Athletic NBA Player: ‘So Sorry King James’

2 Min Read

We all know Kendrick Perkins is willing to take a shot at anybody to make a case for LeBron James. Regardless of the topic, Perk is always there to make Bron look good. This time, though, he ran into someone that made things very clear for him, doing the unthinkable and changing his mind.

Perkins took to Twitter to claim that LeBron James is the most athletic player in NBA history. Little he knew that Boston Celtics legend Bill Russell was ready to correct him and tell him some facts.

“In 56 I could have made the Olympics in high jump but turned it down to play basketball instead we could only play one sport then. Track and Field News ranked me #7 high jumper in the world, I was ranked #2 in the US @ the time. In addition to my leaping ability, I was also an somewhat known as an outstanding sprinter,” Russell wrote on Twitter.

He kept things straight and Perkins learned his lesson, mentioning Bron and changing his stance on this ‘debate’ if there is any.

“Well I’ve been checked by an All-Time Great so sorry @KingJames I’ve had a change of heart…. @RealBillRussell is the Most Athletic Player in NBA History!!! My apologies @RealBillRussell ,” Perk wrote.

Perkins often goes after other players and legends to defend LeBron, but this time he had no more remedy than to admit he was wrong. Props to Mr. Bill Russell.
