The Los Angeles Lakers traded for the Japanese player earlier this week, shocking the NBA and making their fanbase dream about a big change in their reality. But, while many fans had something to say about this move, Shaquille O’Neal didn’t even know who the former No. 9 overall pick was.
The 4x NBA champion was very vocal against this move, even calling out Rob Pelinka, reminding him that the Lakers are trying to win championships.

While Shaq looked very disappointed with this trade, the rest of the fans are more than pleased with Hachimura, who is still young and can develop into a solid star in the association.

These two have engaged in some sort of beef recently, with KD calling Shaq sensitive and the Big Diesel firing back at the Brooklyn Nets superstar. Things haven’t cooled off between them and whenever he has the chance to diss O’Neal, Durant will take it. The 2x NBA champion is a huge fan of basketball, not only the NBA, and he expects to see something similar from somebody who gets paid to talk about the association.
