It is safe to say Kevin Durant is not the most beloved superstar in the NBA at the moment. KD has been on the receiving end of criticism on social media ever since he made the decision to go to the Golden State Warriors in 2016 and after he rocked the basketball world by putting in a trade request earlier this offseason, it has only gotten worse.

It has formed the narrative that KD runs away at the first sign of adversity and a fan on Twitter tried to clown on him recently for running away from his problems, only for Durant to shut him down with an epic response. Another fan also came in defense of KD as he felt people were getting out of hand with this kind of slander.

“mfs be like…I ain’t got no food in my crib but unlike KD…I enjoy starving WITH my family. I’m not just gonna walk away from them. Smh.”

As the fan pointed out, these make no sense, as no one in their right mind would ever enjoy being in a position like that. Durant evidently found it to be hilarious as well as he liked the tweet.

These analogies do get quite wild, but we can be sure Durant and his fans calling them out aren’t going to stop his haters anytime soon, especially after recent developments. That, of course, was the news that broke yesterday, where it was reported that he told the Nets to fire GM Sean Marks and head coach Steve Nash as an ultimatum, as the whole saga took yet another ugly turn.

That’s more ammunition to use against him in the future for his haters and with Durant being more than willing to respond, it gives these people a moment in the spotlight as well, even if it can get a bit embarrassing.

Marion’s versatility as a defender and his rebounding prowess, despite being just 6’7”, impressed Gautam immensely. He admired Marion’s finishing ability at the rim and his shooting, despite an unconventional jump shot, believing that Marion’s skill set would have been even more appreciated in today’s NBA.This transformative experience not only deepened his love for basketball but also shaped his approach to sports writing, enabling him to connect with readers through vivid storytelling and insightful analysis.
