Stephen Curry has recently dominated the Boston Celtics in Game 4, putting up 43 points and 10 rebounds to avoid going down 3-1 in the Finals series. There’s no doubt that this was an all-time great Finals performance from the superstar point guard.

While the Golden State Warriors did manage to win Game 4, they will need a lot more out of the players surrounding Stephen Curry offensively if they are to win this series. Klay Thompson has recently admitted that the team needs to do more to help Stephen Curry and added that it’s “ridiculous” to ask Stephen Curry to score 43 points every game.

“Especially if the other guys, including myself, don’t have it going, Steph has carried us through so many lulls. Come Game 5, we’re going to have to help him out. To ask him to score 43 nightly is ridiculous. It’s just special to watch what he does. He does it so often, we take it for granted”

Hopefully, we see the Warriors’ supporting cast does well in Game 5. The Golden State Warriors will be back at home in Chase Center, and that means the team should play better as a whole due to the fans and home-court advantage.

Klay Thompson has notably struggled during the Finals, but he had an outstanding game in Game 3 and hit some crucial shots in Game 4. Hopefully, he can continue that momentum into Game 5, at home, and the Warriors will need him to score at a high rate to come out on top.

The series is currently tied at 2-2, and as of right now, it could still go either way. The Golden State Warriors will need to protect home court in Game 5 though, and we’ll see if they are able to do so.
