The Brooklyn Nets have one of the best rosters heading into the 2022-23 NBA season. They have a Big 3 of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Ben Simmons, along with many great pieces in the supporting cast.
While fans have already seen KD and Kyrie play together, they are yet to see them play alongside Simmons. Simmons was traded to the Nets in exchange for James Harden last season.
But due to injury issues, fans never even got to see Simmons play one game as a member of the Brooklyn Nets. On top of that, Simmons was sidelined for the 76ers as well before arriving at the Nets.
As a result, there are many questions about how the 26-year-old will fit with the dynamic duo of KD and Irving. Well, Simmons revealed that the trio has been playing together all week, and the NBA should be scared.
Kyrie Irving Heaps Huge Praise On Ben Simmons
Irving’s chemistry with Simmons could make or break the season for the Brooklyn Nets. As of now, it seems like the two players are getting along pretty well.
During NBA media day, Irving praised his teammate and looked very excited to share the floor with him.
"Whatever greatness looks like for him, he wants it."

“His resolve and his resiliency. He wants it. Whatever greatness looks like for him, he wants it. When you’re around other people and you’re in a great environment where you can be supported when you’re going through your ups and your downs, I think that can help ease the journey.”
Over the last two or three seasons, the Nets have always looked like a tough team before the season begins.
But it all starts to go south when they actually play games together. Hopefully, the end result will be different this season, and they can have a decent regular season and playoff run.
