Lamar Odom has given his two pennies on the Tristan Thompson-Khloe Kardashian recent controversy, attacking the Sacramento Kings big man for betraying the reality TV star once again.
A couple of months after he stated he didn’t get a personal trainer pregnant, the 2016 NBA champion revealed he is the father of Maralee Nichols’ baby, stating he’s ready to be present for the kid and have a friendly relationship with the mom.
Even after he apologized to Khloe Kardashian, Thompson received plenty of criticism, which hasn’t stopped. That’s why Odom took his chance to blast the player and attacked him for doing Khloe wrong. Odom and Kardashian were married for seven years, and the former Los Angeles Lakers player still cares about his ex-wife, even if that makes Thompson mad.
In a conversation with TMZ Sports, Odom called Thompson ‘corny’ for his actions.
“I haven’t been fortunate enough to reach out to her [Khloe],” Odom explained. “It’s too bad, but she’s gonna be alright. She’s a strong girl.
“[If I could say anything to her], First, I would give her a huge. I haven’t seen her in a long time. Just to be strong. Keep your faith from God and be strong for your daughter.”
Then, when asked what he would say to Tristan, Lamar didn’t hold anything back.
“My dude is corny for that, but it’s all good.”
Odom also talked about his chances to be back with Khloe, but he just stated he wants to be closer to the woman to start.
“Just to be around her would be a blessing,” the 2x NBA champion said before claiming he wouldn’t go to Los Angeles to try to make a move on Khloe.
TT and Odom have engaged in back and forths before. When the former Sixth Man of the Year award winner complimented the Kardashian clan member, Tristan issued a big warning for the player, making it clear he wasn’t playing.
Ironically, he was the one who played Khloe. Even after apologizing to the woman, Thompson is under fire. He let down plenty of people and it’s hard to imagine him getting back with Khloe after this. Meanwhile, Lamar seems to be in good spirits, calm, and living a peaceful life. Perhaps the future could reunite him with Khloe but that’s a long shot right now.
