LeBron James And Damian Lillard Were In Awe Of Stephen Curry’s 45-PT Explosion

Stephen Curry keeps demonstrating he’s a menace for the rest of the league. The Golden State Warriors superstar kicked off from his MVP-caliber campaign last season, starting the preseason and regular season like “February mode”.

The point guard started off the season recording his first triple-double since 2016 in his team’s win against the Los Angeles Lakers, 121-114. The Splash Brother is on a mission this year after missing the playoffs for two straight seasons.

Curry has started the season in a great way, dominating two direct rivals in the Western Conference: the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers. He’s won back-to-back games against the Los Angelenos squads, asserting his dominance over the rest of the pacific division.

Following his triple-double on opening night, Steph went off on the Clippers by dropping 45 points on Tyronn Lue’s team. He added 10 rebounds to become, obviously, the MVP of the game.

As usual, Curry earned a lot of reactions from colleagues, including LeBron James and Damian Lillard. While the Chef cooked rivals, The King and Dame were in awe of his performance.

Bron called him ‘sick’ while Lillard predicted he’ll go for 75, somehow celebrating this NBA season.

In the end, Curry scored 45, making it 66 points in two games. The Dubs had the edge over the Clips, getting a hard-fought 115-113 win at Chase Center.

This season is expected to be an exciting one for the Warriors. Even though Klay Thompson isn’t back yet, they still have Curry. Golden State can easily compete in the Western Conference with the good pieces they added during the offseason.

With an inspired Steph leading the way, this team has a lot of reasons to be excited. Time will tell if they can go as deep as they did during their best years. Klay’s return will be massive for them, but this version of Curry already makes the Warriors look scary.
