LeBron James’ Big Reaction After Grizzlies Beat Warriors

2 Min Read

The Memphis Grizzlies took care of business on Friday night. They surprised the Golden State Warriors to clinch the final playoffs berth in the Western Conference.

Ja Morant carried his team against Stephen Curry and co., giving them a 117-112 win at the Chase Center, in front of over 7K fans in the arena. It was a great game that needed overtime to be decided, and that’s when Ja took over and ruined the Warriors’ chances to make it to the postseason.

With a clutch performance, the young player earned much recognition from fans and colleagues, including LeBron James. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar had a one-word response to Morant’s performance, just showing how high he was on this player.

The point guard scored 15 points for his team in the 4th quarter and overtime, finishing the game with 35, demonstrating he’s ready to compete against anybody. In his second season in the league, Morant picked things where he left them last year and this one, he could take his squad to the playoffs.

If Memphis manages to win one game against the Jazz, that would be good for them. The NBA community doesn’t believe they can do much against Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert but that’s yet to be seen.

This is a young team with a bright future and if Ja keeps developing, they could make some noise in the playoffs in the future.
