LeBron James is one of the greatest players to ever play in the NBA. For some, he is the greatest ever to do so as well. So it suits well that a player of James’ caliber is the endorser of the biggest sneaker brand in the world. Yes, we are talking about none other than Nike.

James has been associated with Nike throughout his career and even has a lifetime deal with the sneaker brand. LeBron’s partnership has also helped him reach billionaire status.

In exchange, Nike has used LeBron’s name to balloon its brand value over the years. All things considered, the two sides have unwavering loyalty to each other. On that note, James once again proved that when he made an appearance in the Drew League last Saturday.

The Drew League jersey that LeBron wore had an Adidas logo on it. Since Adidas is one of Nike’s biggest competitors, it would have looked really bad if James was seen playing while wearing an Adidas jersey.

In order to avoid that, LeBron decided to apply tape over the Adidas logo on his Drew League jersey. This action from LBJ received a lot of praise from fans as they were happy to see their favorite NBA superstar being loyal to Nike.

As it can be clearly seen in the picture uploaded by James on his Instagram account, he has placed white tape over the Adidas logo on his Drew League jersey.

All things considered, this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. He has always been a Nike guy. He proved that when he was just 18 years old and picked Nike to sign a deal over Adidas and Reebok. James was and will always remain a Nike guy.
