LeBron James has shattered many statistical records during his career. There’s no doubt that on top of his accolades, a lot of numbers show just how amazing of a player he is, especially in big moments in the playoffs.

A recent statistic shared by the Twitter page NBACentral, has shown just how ridiculous LeBron James is when it comes to his performances in the playoffs. LeBron James has the most playoff games with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists, with 48. The two closest players to him are Larry Bird and Giannis Antetokounmpo, who have 19 and 12 of those performances respectively.

LeBron James isn’t in the playoffs this season, and a lot of people have already criticized him for doing so. Some have even claimed that this season will affect how people will view him in all-time talks. However, others, like Shannon Sharpe, have provided arguments as to why LeBron James missing the playoffs shouldn’t affect how people view him in terms of legacy.

“For me, I don’t think it damages it. The league is getting better. I believe the players are more talented than ever before, the talent is spread out. You’re gonna probably see some of these great guys miss the playoffs. The NBA was not as talented then (the 70s, 80s, and 90s) as it is now. Michael Jordan missed the playoffs twice. Did missing the playoffs damage Michael Jordan’s legacy?”

Hopefully, we see LeBron James make the playoffs next season. He is an amazing player to watch, and he had one of his best scoring years this season. There is no doubt that the playoffs aren’t the same without LeBron James, but that doesn’t mean they’re bad. They’re simply different.

Perhaps we’ll get to see LeBron James make the playoffs once again next season. There will have to be a lot of changes to the roster for that to happen, but the front office will likely explore every option to make the team more competitive.
