LeBron James is a near billionaire, a culture influencer, and the face of the NBA. He has achieved success, in all different areas of life, that most could only dream about.

And yet, he remains among the world’s most scrutinized athletes — at least, according to Pickwise After gathering data over the past 12 months, they determined LeBron James as the recipient of the most online hate, with Kevin Durant coming in at fourth.

The fact that LeBron is not only number 1, but that he’s so far ahead of everyone else on the list really says a lot.

Bron has never really endured any scandals, has always said the right thing, and is active in the fight for racial equality.

So why do people hate on him with such volume and passion?

Really, it just comes with the territory of being a world-class athlete. Because LeBron is so good, and so known worldwide, he’s always in the spotlight, and people are always waiting to call him out for one reason or another.

Amazingly, LeBron deals with all the noise like a complete professional, and seemingly never lets it get to his head.

He might be the only one in the world equipped to handle such pressure on a day-to-day basis.
