LeBron James Reacts To Clippers Win Against Lakers: “Great Game!! Mr. October With A Big Time Shot To End It. Salute”

The Los Angeles Lakers once again succumbed against city rivals Los Angeles Clippers, losing a heartbreaking game 111-110 after Reggie Jackson gave the Clips an important win over their struggling rivals.

It was a hard-fought game between these two squads. They battled it out until the end, but Tyronn Lue’s team prevailed against Frank Vogel’s thanks to Jackson’s last-gasp effort that sealed the deal for the Clips.

Everybody had something to say about the game, with fans criticizing the Lakers’ struggles on defense, while others came after the usual players for their performances. One of the biggest absences of the night, LeBron James, had a big reaction to the wild ending.

CLIPPERS WIN.

WHAT AN ENDING. https://t.co/w6LFFJco6G

He gave props to Reggie Jackson, calling him like they used to call another Reggie Jackson (Oakland Athletics and New York Yankees legend) after calling game for the Clips.

Great Game!! Mr. October with a big time shot to end it. Salute

LeBron still felt proud of his team, praising them for fighting until the end, saying that they only needed one stop to secure the win. It never happened, but The King saw good things from his teammates on Tuesday night.

Just needed 1 stop down the stretch! Bros battled though on the 2nd night of a b2b

The Lakers are now 3 games below .500, ranking 9th in the Western Conference standings. If things were bad for them before, they got a lot worse after LeBron went down with a knee injury.

The 37-year-old is yet to make his return to the court and the Lakers must be worried about it. They’re still inconsistent; not even Anthony Davis’ return has made a big change for them. It’s time to step up and play like they’re supposed to and stop relying on LeBron so much.

We are less than a week away from the trade deadline and the Purple and Gold are one of the teams expected to have a lot of activity trying to bolster their ranks. Perhaps after next Thursday, the Lakers could see a major boost in their level.
